What instruments are actually taught at the school?

Currently we are able to give tuition for the following instruments;

- Classical, Acoustic & Electric Guitar
- Bass Guitar
- Drums
- Vocal
- Piano
- Violin

How much will lessons cost me and what is the duration of lessons?

- Lessons are only $30.00 for 30 minutes.

- You can "Pay As You Go". We do require 2 lessons in advance to always be in your account.

How do I go about booking lessons?

- All you have to do to start lessons with us is to fill out the enrolment form, pay your bond & book a suitable time for yourself.

Do I have to re-book lessons to continue?

- Once you’ve booked a time with us, it’s yours every week until you decide to finish up.

What are the school hours?

- Open and closing hours depend on booked lessons, but these are the times that the school operates

- Monday to Thursday – 3:00pm 9:00pm, Saturday – 9:00am 4:00pm

Will students need to bring their own instruments?

Guitar students will need to bring their own instruments.
Amplifiers are provided for lessons.
An electronic drum kit is used for drum lessons. Students will only need to bring drum sticks.

Are lessons given in groups?

- Lessons are one on one with a teacher. Single student lessons are recommended for proper monitoring of the students progress as well as to help the students concentration.

How old must a child be before they can begin learning an instrument?

- To learn an instrument, all that is required is to be able to concentrate for 1/2 an hour.

- Age is not really an issue. Most will pay attention because they sincerely want to learn music. Parents are encouraged to watch lessons to see their child’s progress.

Is the school open on public/school holidays?

- On school holidays, the school runs on a different schedule. Some students wish to continue lessons during their holidays and some don't. We do organise holiday lessons however this runs on a different timetable.

What do I do if I will be absent?

- The school requires notice on the previous day during normal business hours for absences.

- You can let us know if you’ll be away by phoning us or you can inform the front counter.

- Students who have given no notice or late notice will be charged. (Go to The Rules)

Does the school give music examinations?

- The school is able to arrange and prepare students for examinations that they wish to attempt.
